A foundational principle of Earl’s ministry of many years is the premise that our relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is the center point of all that we seek to be and do.
About Rev. Earl F. Palmer
Rev. Earl Palmer served in pastoral ministries at University Presbyterian Church in Seattle, Union Church in Manila, First Presbyterian Church of Berkeley, and The National Presbyterian Church in Washington, D.C. He had a commitment to expositional preaching of biblical texts, as well as a strong interest in pursuing theological themes that are present in classic and contemporary literature, with particular focus on such authors as C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, Dietrich Bonhoeffer and Karl Barth. He was one of the most gifted teachers of the Bible, with a unique style that unfolds the text and allows the listener to make great discoveries. EPM exists to share the gifts that this teacher brought to the world.
A Light to Generations

ABOUT EARL PALMER MINISTRIES
The idea for Earl Palmer Ministries was borne from the example of John Stott Ministries, founded in order for the late John Stott to continue doing ministry after he retired from the pulpit. Like John Stott, Earl had the benefit of a Study Assistant – a yearlong appointment in which a recent college graduate spends a year assisting Rev. Palmer in his writing, teaching, and travel.
Aside from these, Rev. Palmer frequently spoke at organizations, universities, and churches around the Seattle area and various other locations. To see a complete list of upcoming events, please view our calendar. To listen to Rev. Palmer’s sermons and lectures over the years please visit our media tab.

“THEREFORE ENCOURAGE ONE ANOTHER AND BUILD ONE ANOTHER UP, JUST AS YOU ARE DOING.”
1 THESSALONIANS 5:11
Earl Palmer Ministries’ mission statement comes from 1 Thessalonians 5:11: “Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.”
These words from the Apostle Paul inspire our ministry of teaching, writing and mentoring.
First, we seek to mentor young theologians through our internship program and theological dialogues. Live podcasts through the Kindlings Muse have been held and offer regular teaching and conversation for all ages to consider major Christian themes. Word and Worship provides a setting for expositional teaching of the Bible and inspirational music.
Earl Palmer Ministries wider ministry focuses primarily on encouraging pastors and presenting the
case for expositional worship.
